Why did Shakib suddenly announce his retirement?

In a stunner question and answer session on Thursday, Bangladesh pro all-rounder Shakib Al Hasan said that he had informed the Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) that the forthcoming South Africa Test series at home in October-November will be the last Test series of his vocation.

Following the fall of the Awami Association government, of which he was a MP, Shakib has not gotten back to the country. That's what he feels in the event that he can go to the nation and leave according to his very own preferences, he will play the series against South Africa, which is to be his last Test series.

It isn't simply Test cricket that Shakib is set to leave as he further educated that he won't play T20 design for the following couple of series as he feels the time has come to continue on from the configuration.

Inquired as to whether he would play the T20I series against India, beginning on October 6, he informed that he believes he has proactively played his last T20I.

"I assume I have played my last match at the World Cup [against Afghanistan]," he added.

When inquired as to whether the Bosses Prize in 2025 would be his last attack in the ODI design, he essentially said "I trust so. Nine more ODIs."
